Can I trust the times?

Every time shows whether it is live, comes from the timetable or is out of date. Read how that works and where the data comes from.

About us

Frequently asked questions

Honest answers, even when the answer is no.

Do I need an account?

No. Your places and settings stay on your device. Moving them to another device yourself is not possible yet.

Can I buy tickets?

No. Wissel plans and shows times. Tickets, OV-chipkaart and OVpay are not part of it.

Where do the times come from?

From NDOV-loket: bus, tram and metro via OVapi, trains directly. They are live when the operator passes them on, and otherwise come from the timetable. Addresses come from PDOK.

What if live times are missing?

Then the app says you are seeing the timetable. We never show an outdated time as live.

Do I need to share my location?

To plan from where you are, yes. If you decline, the app stays open and Start shows you how to turn it on later.

How is Wissel paid for?

That has not been decided yet. What is certain: no ads.
